The Rigel Foundation conducted an online astronomy session for underprivileged and tribal children from a rural school in Maharashtra. The session explored the universe and our planetary system.

Seeing the students’ keen interest, the school expressed a need for a projector so more children could participate. Recognizing this, the Rigel Foundation extended a helping hand and donated a projector.

The Foundation is also committed to setting up an Astronomy Club in collaboration with the school and is in the process of establishing a library equipped with iPads and a telescope. These initiatives aim to nurture the students’ curiosity and expand their knowledge of space and science.
